100% FOOD SAFE

All our ceramic-majolica pieces (dinnerware, serving pieces, all canisters, vases and jars, pitchers, mugs, tabletop accessories, etc.), entirely made and painted by hand, are intended to have contact with food. They have met the FDA standards and have been tested and approved for food use.

CARE&USAGE

Italian ceramics are precious, and can last a very long time with proper care.

Here are some suggestions to preserve your majolica for years to come.

1.        We do not recommend microwaving any Italian majolica products. Although microwaving will not brake an item, it may "craze" the glaze, causing tiny cracks.

2.       Majolica is sensitive to extreme temperatures, specifically boiling or freezing liquids. Pouring water with a rolling boil directly into a teapot, for example, may lead to cracking or breakage. To avoid this, temper the object, by placing it at a low temperature in the oven for a few minutes.

3.       Majolica is NOT dishwasher safe. We recommend to hand wash the pieces.
